The American version features horrible voice acting, shoddy translation, and censorship (namely, a boss fight against the Pope, and swastikas were removed). Maken X (Dreamcast, 1999)- Not 100% sure if this game is part of the Megaten saga, but. Really a lot like Dragon Quest, only you can chat with the enemies. Unlike most Megaten games, this takes place in a medieval/fantasy setting. Megami Tensei Gaiden: Last Bible (1999, Gameboy Color)- Released in the US as Revelations: The Demon Slayer. The American version is very well known for its horrible localization. Megami Ibunroku Persona (1996, PSOne)- Released in the US as as Revelations: Persona, it's the very first game of the Persona saga. As you can guess by the title, it's a platformer featuring our favourite snowman, Jack Frost. (1995, Virtual Boy)- The first Megaten game to have ever been released in the US. And since love begins within those that are in the fandom, I decided to compile this list of Megaten media that has been translated, or is in the process of being translated in one case. So, let's face it, this series needs more love.
